Incorporated in 1997, SasiaNet is an independent software services provider which specializes in developing business critical software products for the Financial Services industry.

Our local and international client base includes commercial banks, primary dealers of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, investment / fund managers, financial institutes and entities engaged in factoring operations.

We are currently on the lookout for a Associate Software Engineer to join our team.

The Role 

• Participation in all aspects of product development and maintenance activities

The Profile 

• Strong educational background with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent professional qualifications from a recognized institute
• Excellent software engineering skills base on MVC
• Minimum 2 years of similar experience
• Experience in web application development and overall working knowledge in Java / J2EE, Oracle, SQL, JSP, Web Authoring (jquery, JavaScript, HTML / DHTML), Tomcat / Apache Servers, Struts / Hibernate development frameworks and domain knowledge in the Financial Services Sector will be an added advantage
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Soft skills to be a good team player
• Contribution for the achievement of goals of the team
